Green Grilled Cheese By: Elizabeth Kraterfield

Ingredients:

                     Spinach Garlic Pesto Sandwich Petal

2 oz.                 Havarti Cheese

½ cup               Wild Mushrooms

¼ cup               Leeks, chopped

1 tsp                 Thyme

2 Tbsp              Ranch Dressing

 

Directions

1.    In a skillet over high heat, spray with cooking spray.

2.    Sautee mushrooms, leeks, and thyme until soft and fragrent.

3.    Add salt and pepper to taste

4.    Lay petal out, spread dressing, cheese, mushrooms and leeks on half of the pelel.

5.    Fold over and place in skillet until slightly crispy.

6.    Enjoy!

 

Sweet Chile Monterey Jack & Turkey Sandwich

- You will need:

  • Red Chile Sandwich Petals
  • Thai sweet chile sauce
  • Turkey, sliced
  • MontereyJack cheese, sliced
  • Spinach (optional)

- Lay one Petal flat then spread 1 table spoon of Thai sweet chile sauce on the Petal

- Place 1 or 2 pieces of turkey on the Petal (depending on if you have thick or thin slices, and how much turkey you prefer)

- Then place 1 or 2 pieces of Monterey Jack Cheese on the Petal (depending how much you prefer)

- Add a handful of spinach on top of the cheese, if you would like

- Lastly, place another Petal on top of the cheese or spinach

- Then place the Sandwich Petals Sandwich onto a foreman type grill for about 2 minutes. Or into a pan and heat each side of the Sandwich for about 1 minute

- Remove the Sandwich from heat and let cool, then cut with pizza cutter into your desired size

- Enjoy!
