“One thing that we have really missed after going gluten free was good [flatbread]. Then, we experienced Sandwich Petals.  These petal-shaped (flat-breads) are delicious.  Not only are they delicious, but they are also healthy.  They contain no gluten, no dairy, no nuts, no eggs, no wheat, no shellfish, and no soy.”

“These hearty [Petals] are made from multiple gluten free whole grains, and pair well with both light and heavy ingredients.  Sandwich Petals are shelf stable for 30 days.  Just pop them in the microwave for 25-30 seconds to have a nice, flexible [Petal]that does not break when you roll it.”

“Gluten-free Sandwich Petals (aka flatbreads) from Raquelita’s are one of the most exciting things to hit the gluten-free market in a while.”

“One of the most remarkable things about these wraps (as I call them) is that they are shelf stable for a month. No freezing or refrigeration required! This actually sounded too good to be true to me, so I tested the claim.”

” The result was that the wraps were as good this week as they were four weeks ago. It’s quite shocking to think something this good, that is also good for you and only has 90 calories can sit out on the counter or in the pantry for so long and not go stale.”

“One of the most fun uses for the wrap is making pizzas with them. Seriously, the pizza was fabulous, even though the crust was anything but conventional.”

They’re only 90 calories each (as compared to some other GF tortillas at 180 cal/each), and they are pretty good for you, too. Nutrition is all well and good, but you know me – I’m all about GOOD food – and these hit the mark.”

“The awesome Sandwich Petals are made with ten nutritious grains and they are free of dairy, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, soy and gluten. There is a tiny bit of fish from tuna oil for the omega 3. The grains include buckwheat, sorghum, millet, quinoa (a super food!), teff, amaranth, sesame, tapioca, corn and flax. Each petal contains 3 grams of fiber or 12% of the RDA. The flatbreads are a low glycemic food, helping to maintain proper blood sugar levels.”

“The number of things that these great Sandwich Petal’s can be used for is almost limitless.”

“Well, I’ve got to say that [the Spinach Garlic Pesto] was my absolute favorite wrap of the three. The flavors in the Spinach Garlic Pesto Sandwich Petals are just perfect together!”

“I was very excited to try these sandwich petals, because, corn tortillas simply aren’t the best substitute for a sandwich wrap! It had probably been a good 20 years since I have eaten a wrap, so you can imagine my joy when I opened up the package.”

“When I first opened up the package, my first instinct was to bend them around, to see just how pliable they really are! After all, gluten-free tortillas, especially larger tortillas, are known for falling apart easily! However, I was surprised that the Sandwich Petals were able to hold up very well.”

“I would definitely recommend that you heat up the sandwich petal prior to using it, as it makes the petal much more flexible and easy to use. The Garlic Pesto was an excellent replacement for the traditional sandwich wrap and you can actually taste the spinach, garlic and basil flavors, but they are not overpowering. It felt great to actually eat a wrap again!”

“The [Chimayo Red Chile] Sandwich Petal held up great and the burrito didn’t fall apart in my hands! The flavor was great and not really spicy at all, so don’t worry if you aren’t a big fan of spice.”

“Oh, and the best part about these sandwich petals is that they are shelf stable for 30 days without refrigeration!”

“I was a little nervous about reviewing a prepackaged gluten-free product because they tend to be ‘dissapointing’ at best. However, I was pleasantly surprised by these flatbreads. The taste and texture are outstanding and they are very versatile. ”

” I tried all three and loved them all. My husband is no fan of gluten-free bread and he enjoyed them too. Even my 3 year old devoured these flatbreads!
